HIS FIRST RACE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbHIxXiFAyA)
-
WTF happened over the last jump ???
-
Sorry I laughed! ;D
-
looks like he jumped the berm and found a quicker way to put a bike in his ute ingenious :D ;)
-
:D ;D I guess he understands why they call them WHOOPS now
-
thats great lozza. after a hard day at work its good to laugh great
-
:D I dunno Loz, I been in some strange and spectacular happenings but I don't ever recall putting together such a crowd pleasing first half lap :D
-
:-\ Poor guy he looked like he was trying real hard. Pity someone did show/teach him how to jump properly ;D
-
my stomach hurts.. :D i see my brother do the similar thing on a kx60 many years ago..
Good on the bloke, givin it a good old crack 8)
-
Yeah, good one Lozza. :D
Against my better judgement, I'll admit that in my first race, I didn't see the chequered flag and kept riding until flag marshalls started jumping out in front of me to stop me so the next race could start.................. :-[
But I didn't crash! ;D
-
Looks like the Yanks don't have any rider competency requirements before you front up for your first race. :D
-
Whats scary is, he wasn't running last,
Noel
-
Yep GOON RACING alright---laughter is the best medicine thanks :D
-
I thought he did well to get back up after the first stack ;D
-
I reckon he got further than most would considering he hadn't taken a breath since the second corner where he crushes his ghoolies when he runs off the track :D :D
-
Let it be a lesson to you NEVER invite people with video equipment and internet access to races ;D Glad you liked it.
-
;D If only he had gone a bit faster, I would have wet myself if he'd landed in the back of that ute.
-
he did well to recover from the first one obviously not his day :)

Anyone know where this is ???
-
Looks like a US pick-up truck in the back-ground. Also, don't know where wire mesh fence was ever used in Oz or Europe in those days.....but then again, I don't even know who the riders are ??? ??? :)
-
That's in the US for sure in the era of the big Supercross front plates. Only the yanks would still be wearing Scott face guards in '82 when the Bell Moto 3 was the helmet of choice in Oz.
-
Dont laugh - BULLSHIT - That's hilarious!!! 100 points for effort though - looses cods - gets back on - crashes brains out - gets back on - spears of into the car park - I wonder if the film lasted longer would he re-appear?

Anyone know where this is
Alison It could be the big downhill at Hollister, California or possibly Carlsbad but the terrain looks too green for that place.
Hollister I reckon.
-
I'm with Firko. Certainly looks like SoCal soil and absent of substantial vegetation.
-
thanks firko and pirie593
I just found it an interesting www.photobucket.com shot
"competitive or non competitive" ;D so many captions could apply 8)
and no doubt some riders have been in this predicament. :P
plus it looks like a nice warm day for it 8)
-
now remember after the jump in the main straight turn right at the berm. It is not a jump!!!
-
moment of in-decission, if only he'd accidently nailed it wfo he'd probably have cleared the truck and the perimeter fence AND be a super legend status!..sadly little Johnny chose the wrong option chashed and burnt :D
-
About 8 years ago I did the same thing :-[ but on the other side of the burm was a big drop I was clearing branches out of trees ::) when I hit the ground I got up as quick as to see what damage I had done to the alloy tank its only then I realised I stuffed the rotocuff in my shoulder :'( I'm such a tight ass I still tried to ride the rest of my time I'd payed for at the bike park south of Nowra but my balls were'nt big enough my mates took me home then the wife bagged me out on the way to the hospital ::) jimson
