I am having troubles finding a 80.5 piston for my 73 dt360 standard being 80. I do have several options ie adapting some other piston of similar specs or finding a nos barrel as it is still easy to find standard pistons or reslieving my barrell [bit costly that one]. One other option is to find an MX 400 barrel as wiseco still can supply piston and rod kits for them. Only problem is i don't know if the 400 barrell bolts straight on.
I really would like any help or advice about this problem as i recently had a taste of short circuit at nepean on a borrowed ts400 and am building this bike to have a go.

There's plenty of DT360 pistons and rings on eBay, I found the cheapest 0.25 NOS ones in less than 5 minutes...

The DT400 top end won't fit, Sean.
Prety sure that RT2 and/or MX360 pistons will also work, which might open up your options.

cyclegod, aren't the 0.25mm pistons going to slap around a bit in his 0.50mm oversize barrel?
