Hi all,
I am needing some decent fork tubes to complete a yz80d project I've had going for some time. It has 27mm tubes and was curious to know if 27mm tubes from an xr80 will fit or fit with some minor modification, into the YZ lowers.
Cheers, Chris

XR80 fork tubes fit but they are to short compared to a YZ80D, try late model (80/81) MX100 forks as they are the same as YZ80D forks, YZ80A/B/C have shorter tubes than the D but the lower legs are all the same, late 77 XR75 to 82 XR80 have a longer lower fork leg, 73/76 XR75 have same length lower legs as YZ80's, XR's from 73 to 82 use the same length fork tubes

Beric,
Thanks, you know your hondas. I'm thinking of these.....

2005 model crf80/100. Do you know if these are longer?
I'm actually not to fussed if it sits a little lower in the front because I think the D looks a little long in the front anyway. Do you think they (earlier type you mention above) would be longer than A B and C? Somewhere in between would be nice.
