Hi All
for all those who just havnt had enough VMX this year, we are off and racing at Cloes Creek this weekend, so if your bikes are still going after CD6, the Nats, Qld Titles and the practice day, load them up and head north for what should be another great day of vintage racing, this time without the points and trophies and just for the fun of it! The track will be bigger, wider and longer, so dont forget to fill up before getting on the grid.
Cheers Trev

Phili is fine and will be riding on the weekend, you have to breed them tough these days (or it might just be her red hair). and it wasnt dad's fault!

It is always great to line up along side of Holeshotbuddy, especially when Glenn Bell is there too.
Bret also blasted off the line in a cloud of dust.

Looks like a small but star studded field in the pre85 open races Ji.What are you doing there?(joking :D).Looks like Mrs Gantor can take a good photo!
-
Hi Shortshifter,
I was giving the others something to ride around.
Mrs Gantor is hopeless with a camera but every now and then she snaps off a great one or two.
Holeshot did a great job setting the course.
Last time we were there we were privileged to see Mick Cook put on a clinic, this time I got to race against Glenn Bell. I can not wait to see who turns up next time.

What a great Fathers day.
Open throttle, wheels spinning and no time to admire the countryside.
Hot, dry and dusty.
It was so hot that the dead grass that found its way onto the header pipes caught fire.

Gi , As pic shows HSB had the jump on you .....Nothing wrong with your pics Mrs Gantor

Hi Oldfart,
I am still learning how to launch the 490.
In the first race I bogged in second, in the second race I wheel standed down the start straight in second. In the third I bogged again and thank God I did as Glenn Bell had some wheel spin and cut straight in front of me. If I had got off the line like I would like I would have worn Glenn, and of course it would have been all my fault.
Now about Mrs Gantor's images, you have not seen the ones I deleted.
She is busy right now so hopefully she won't read this.

Hey Worms,
Did any one take a photo of the 40th birthday cake we all enjoyed last week at Cooroy.
It was a work of art, it will also show southerners the great lifestyle we Queenslanders live.
Ji

yeah, what a great job, Bob's wife Vicky did on the cake.
i will see if there is one about, but if we carry on toooo much about how good it is up here, there wont be anyone left in the southern states for us to have a go at! ;D
