hi after some help with 84 rm 125 carbie have just done up motor and want to do up carbie so it will be up to the new motor what thing do you all think i should renew new to the restore game and help would be great thanks gary

Hi Gary personally i wouldnt worry renewing anything till you have tried it what you are best off to do is. Pull apart you carby and clean all jets and any muck out of the bowl and you should be right to go thanks Michael.

thank a mate told me to replace all the jets needle and seat as they will let me down after motor renewed was after peoples thoughts thanks again gary

I restored an 84 a little while back. Make sure the carby is as clean as you can get it. Needle and seat not sticky, clean jets and other passages etc. Go down to a 260 main and 40 pilot, needle clip in the middle setting and start there. Some people went to a leaner needle jet also- that was at pretty much Sea level. Do your plug chops.
