Speaking of Yamaha bottom ends, I am begining a rebuild on my daughters GT80MX and have a bottom end with engine no. 0T1-012356. Have been told is from YZ80D. Can I interchange with my rebuilt top end, or will it make it too mongrel if I do and/or should I keep it more oringinal??

ah eml yes yes it may be to mungrel for a kid though i have two gt80's have thought about doing it to the bitsa not sure yet the gt80 original is a great learner bike the yz only main difference is extra gear different ratios aswell maybe

Hey Frosty, I spoke to Gwillam at Team Moto,Moorooka today, he's is the spares guru there, and he said he was going tocheck it out and to call him tomorrow.
I am still not sure about making a mongrel as it's a pretty straight little booga, though I spose if I keep the bits I can change it back later eh.

0T1? 1T0 is yz80d 1977. If you have the gt bottom I would keep it original.
