hi
i have decided to put my 350 art senior ariel in a gen ariel frame instead of the dupie bsa frame i have.i have got hold of a 1958 duplex frame.i am building up a pre 65 race bike,
any one have any tips on the process at the moment i am busy colecting parts.
looking for trials tank

there's a guy here in bris who rides a mid 50's HS scrambles ariel, I can see if i can chase up his contact details if you think it'll help.

Did you notice the fifties side stand in the above photo Jim? Cheap, effective, overweight and overengineered ;D. Back in vogue - totally 'green' and recyclable ;).

Jim..you will be able to use the lipless rims as the Ariel shown has....they are allowed in pre'65 ..however if you wish to have an "A" prefix which denotes pre '60 (as in the photo) you will need to use mudcather style rims.... :) Deep breath now Firko... ;) :-*

i have a 1939 conical ariel 8 in brake rear wheel and it is lip less but it is also 19in and rusty as.
