Title: 36mm mikuni 2.5 or 3.0 slide

hi
anyone got a spare 2.5 or 3.0 mikuni slide for my 36mm mikuni.i have 34mm and 38mm carbys and the slides dont interchange. the 1 i am using is a 1.5,

and what happens when you use the 1.5, why do you want to go to a 2.5 or 3.0?
I'm interested because I've been playing about with carbs lately

as slide go up in size 1 1.5 2 2.5 3
the higher the no the leaner it is
the motor is a little rich on the initial turn of the twist grip.
opened up it flys.thought the clutch was slipping in yesterdays little test.pulled it apart it fine.looked at my test track 2 trenches 1 each way.what i thought was clutch slp was wheel spin

Just file the slide , with great care to a 2.5 mm cutaway .......if not I think I have one cheers Tim

how do you know what the cutaway size is i have a 1.5 do i just file 1mm off the top of the slide (the round bit).i know not to touch the bottom
