Title: fuel tank question

was looking in the shed this arvo for tank to suit fatrats yz125G,found that and all is good
but i also found another tank, same shape and mounts with much larger fuel tap
date clock shows 1982 so is not 125
could it be yz100 ???

All of the 82+ tanks (inc YZ100) have the recess for the safety seat.

I'll take a stab in the dark and suggest that your '82 build tank is a replacement tank for a 125G/H, 'cause I can't think of any '82/83 models that have a tank that looks like a G/H tank.

that makes sense, the fuel tap must be off something else the outlet is about 8mm so 250/400 i guess
