Yep, the winners can collect between 9.00am and 10.00am tomorrow.
I cannot guarantee that any alcohol in this house won't be already consumed once it's past 10.00am. (9.00am during summer) ;)

-
Joel Robert ,Dave Bickers and some russian who won in 65 - the old guy? no idea
p.s.victor arbekov is the russian
-
2 out of 4.
Dave Bickers is one I thought might have been hard. Well done. ;D
-
Sylvain Geboers? The old guy looks familiar but ????
-
The 2 in the middle are what I consider 2 of the most famous names in motocross.
One for his riding ability, the other not so much. ;)
-
I thought at first Paul Fredrichs but the it didnt make sense because the others are 250 riders.
-
Shit its a young Roger De Coster , taken in the year that he rode 250's. Yahooo!
I'll never get the old guy - maybe an engineer?
-
3 out of 4!!
Think of them racing in America for the old guy. ;)
-
Edison Dye??
-
4 out of 4. ;D
Just for fun, here's another one.........
Pretty easy, butt ;)

Seems a shame to be standing in front of such a cool bike. ;D
-
(http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn38/mainline_bucket/rudge.jpg)
-
Its not a Greeves but looks like Dave Bickers anyway - maybe he rode that before the greeves.???????????
-
looks like a Rudge to me...
tall but true story time..Rudge..speaking of which I have a great story that was told to me by my scottish engineer neighbor Elwyn Brequet when I was 3 or 4..he was the Chief Inspector of Engineering in QLD at the time. The man was a genius but it didn't dawn on me just how much of a genius until he became old and went senile and I was allowed to visually sift his workshop :o It's about a man and an engine design and how many years after he'd designed this engine he was to hear it riding past a pub at Innisfail NQ. He ran outside to see what it was and there was his design nestled in a Rudge. He designed the motor and although he never saw production he knew exactly what it would sound like. Jeez I wished I'd spent more time with him but I was blessed with the time I had ;)
we'll now return you to your regular veiwing :P
-
motomaniac and Doc, can share this one (great short story too btw Doc). It's Bickers on a 1938 499cc Rudge in 1961, where Dave won a special "vintage" (love the irony ;D) race.
Note the solid rear end and girder forks.
P.S. Dave would be a lot harder to pick if they had fullface helmets back then, his Superman chin gives it away every time. ;D
-
Look at how much air he's getting on that thing! Next too no suspension and must be 400lbs but DB is totally cool as he comes down to land that thing!!! :o
-
:o my eyesight isn't what it used to be but has Bickers' bike only a single clamp on the bars? must be an illusion..done with mirrors or something :-\ hmmm..just looked again..phark that! I don't like that at all but it doesn't seem to be of any concern and who am I to question..it's all good if you don't look down ;) the guy at right in the dark trenchcoat has the expression that says it all..great pic!
