The Jammer Jimmy Weinert,too easy.

....so proclaimed by the T shirt behind ::) ;D.
-
bugger, I saw the Tee behind but didn't think it'd be that easy.. :D
what's the name he uses for this guitar playing alter ego then? ;)
-
Another couple of very recent pics of The Jammer. Top pic with my good mate Buz whom sends me all these pics from the US and lower while spectating at Southwick. (I think :P)

oh and The Jammers alter ego is 'Skeeter'
-
Looks like he was slightly off track coming on the jump Doc.
In OZ or OS?
-
Sylvain Gebeors ?
-
its in europe , RogerD or Sylain geboers
-
Roger D
-
Yup Sylvain it is..and a great shot I reckon 8) can almost feel the ground shake just looking at it ;D
-
I mainly have Suzuki riders due to my very sheltered life but here's a more local local..almost makes me cranky everytime I think about it..
-
I was going to say RogerD but thought that was too obvious.
-
Thats hard. Maybe Stu Mac laughlin(spelling???)
-
It's not Stu MacLaughlin, he was on 125's back then.
Rod Clements?
-
noooo...that's probably the U15 1978 australian 80cc champ trophy he has there..Stew McLachlin rode an RM400N in '79 so the era isn't quite the same ;) there is one very distinct similarity between the late Stewy McLachlin and this rider, not the sort of similarity anyone should try to master.
-
Looks like Robin Rhodes by he's from vic
-
No, not Robin Rhodes...
-
Is it a Qld'er Doc?
-
no, not a QLDer Johnny. Born August 10th 1964 which would have made him 45 this year and right in the thick of things ;)
-
c,mon guys he's a legend!!! A true legend!! I have another pic without the stackhat(which was also trick for the day!)..just a sec
-
How about Christopher Wright?? :D :D
-
:D :D :D that's the funniest thing I've heard this lifetime Tony! I been really ill so a good laugh just did me the world of good ;) whilst I rode an RM80 in the same era that's about where the similarities stop :D
here's another and if this doesn't give it away then I give up with you lot ::) (metaphorically speaking that is ;D)
here is me in '77, as you can see below I had much longer hair..oh how I miss that hair :D

You said 'legend'............. not 'fast'.............. ;) :D :D
-
'bout the only thing legendary is the Sherries Disposals jungle boots Tony..can't say I miss them though :D
-
I wore those things too doc.. looking back they gave no protection.
I'm thinking this rider may not be with us anymore??
-
I am thinking your following a hunch John but yes, this is correct.. ;)
-
Andy Caldecot RIP
-
bingo!! I was thinking if I mentioned Keith it may have clicked but Bill's on the money ;)
-
Bloody hell! How did we not get that??
-
Bloody hell! How did we not get that??
I'm just not used to seeing the front him. If you showed I photo from the back, I might have got it. :D
I've spent about 3 weeks of my life in his dust................... :(
In hindsight, the number should have been a hint too.
Good one, Doc. ;D
-
obviously not as easy as it would appear Johnny..the first pic I would have no idea unless I did a search of past title winners but the second pic with no helmet..that's Andy all over. I really wished I had a chance of meeting him but sadly that chance never eventuated. From everything I've heard and read he was quite probably one of the nicest blokes you'd ever meet on a dirtbike. RIP Andy and Stew.
:D good one yourself Tony, trust me when I say the back of the pic was plain Kodak white ;)
-
I did pass him like he was standing still one day..................
Actually he was standing still................. actually lying down with a broken collar bone or something................ ::)
-
I've only ever seen him with a pony tail so it didn't click. I got to meet him when i raced with him at the '94 Vintage Nats.. Nice guy and fast on those stock looking TM's.
-
:o how heartless Tony! you didn't even stop to render assistance or double him to the nearest hospital ::) almost a crime but I'll let ya off cause we all do silly things in the heat of battle ;)
Johnny well there ya go..there is something in common with me then!..the pony tail! sported one for as long as I can remember but only now do I know the reason why ;D it can be a tribute..until it all falls out which won't be too long...all my helmets are getting too big these days ::)
