Title: Wanted Photos of Ray Vandenberg's 1983 RM 500

Hi guys I am about to embark on a new project and would welcome any shots of Rays 1983 Mr Motocross winning mount which I want to base my bike on.

i owned rays 82 500 and i know his 83
very well ;)

Gday rusty
I just want some photos so I can make mine as close as possible.I have a twinair box, adjustable struts etc just wondering what the side panels were they look different to oem,and generally I want to make her look close.I think I wont drill as many holes in her like Goof's bike.I also have scored a nos swingarm cool eh!
Any insight would be appreciated mate.

i do have some photos will dig them out after nats
he ran white power shock and white power adj kitted forks
muffler and pipe were tmv
engine ported and stroked
adj struts, twin air.
every bolt was drilled and hollowed out
plastics were squarer not sure were trevor
got them from

that was one very trick bike from that period, and did it go.

wonder what happened to it, i do believe Steven Breese had it for a year after Goof and don't know who had it then. it it still out there Russell?

not yet been busy working on bikes

Just stumbled across some photos of the vandenberg bike in a ADB "Mr Mototcross bike's" article, they are black and white with a brief description of the work carried out on the bike.
I can copy and get to you if you still need help.
