if I get a 77 fork to put in a 1980 SWM is it OK for pre 78
Dos any of you have a motor and frame numbers list for this make, for which years they belong to,

I am not sure you are on the right track here mate -1980 is 1980- and not older ?

Apart from it being made in 1980.  I think you will find yours is a TF1 which is has a different frame & motor to the 77 RS GS.
