Just getting back into vmx after a 7 year holiday and wanted to get an idea if it's still possible to buy a reasonably priced cr125/250/360 pre78. Could I get an idea what I'm gonna have to pay for a ridable bike please. Not keen on buying a rebuild. Cheers ;)

A good clean husqvarna wheather 250 or 360 $3000 to $6000

Where are you located Dave? I have a '77 360 which has just been fully race prepared from the ground up. I will race it at 2 more meetings and it will be available after Sunday August 23. Pm me with your email address and I will send details and photo's.
Cheers,

Here's Husky 67's latest find, a '74 CR400...$1200 and it runs. This is yet another message to those doom merchants that keep up the annoying old "there ain't any more old bikes left" chant. There are shitloads of bikes out there for good prices if you're prepared to look.

What a great find! :o However, it is getting much harder to pick things like that up Firko no matter how hard you try. Especially if you don't work in an industry which allows you exposure to opportunities as I once did. I do agree though that you can still find them. Hope to see some more pics of that 400 as it gets fixed up please, and any others.

That's excatly what I'm after!! I used to have one many years ago, raced it at Amaroo circuit in a vmx against Roy Gay and the rest of the mob. Hey Freakshow can't you get us a price please, please, please and location???
-
YEs its a WR250, think he said year was 76, he rebuilt it to do Dt, then got sick so it just sitting. Last he said to me was make a fair offer, he has not idea of the market price to day other than , i would accept that , or not i wont except that. YOu make a resoanable offer that you would expect a bike like that to change hands for and if your arround the mark im sure it would change hands. Bike is currently on the eastern seaboard

That 74 400 has just found a new home ;). At Husky Central 2 ;D
The guys wife says she is using to much fertilizer, everytime she goes to the shed another husky has popped up
-
How's this for a cheap 510 project? The bloke even throws in an XL250......All for $200. I'd be grabbing it if I had room in the shed.
