Title: Pirelli MT43 - okay for Dirt Track?

Pirelli MT43 - okay for Dirt Track? The title is the question.

By that I mean is it MA acceptable for DT.

I think it would be Graeme. I have my doubts as to it being all that great though.

That patten is MA - OK for sure.

So long as its not claw you can ride it.   baSICALLY ANy chocolate block or enduro tread will see you ride no probs, as per firko, though it would only be OK, if you were serious and have an 18" rim you would just go out and buy the michielin X,  last you for eva and is the only tyre to use if you want to be at the pointy end,  worth 3+ sec  a lap min on anything,  9 and cheaper and better value than a $1000 port job)

OUt of curiosity did you notice if that tyre there comes in a 19" by 2.75, 3.75 - 4.00 ?

Interesting comments Freaky, you obviousky have an interest in DT. What 21" tyre do you run with the michielin X?

G`day Graeme have michelin trials tyre here you can have 18``,only used on a sidecar for the day,spin it and it will be ok 07 3821 6777 robin
