Anyone care to suggest any class winners for the Nats.
I haven't got much idea myself except that I heard that Glen Bell is on a CR500 RE.
:-\Iwouldn't bet against him in the pre 85 bigbores.
-
Geoff Ballard would have to be pretty short odds in pre 75 500 on his CZ and Boagy will win his usual 2 or 3 classes.
-
the canondale home track Cavell Bros' will have to be odds on with them Beezas for a least a few gold gongs ;)
-
I thought Geoff was only there as traction if I remember rightly!
;D
-
I think there's going to be some unknowns in VMX circles and maybe a few upsets to compliment these new names but eh, will have to wait and see ;)
-
The young fellow that rode the 490 Maico in Tassie and won the EVO/pre-85 would have to be a chance if he is entered
-
Watch out for Fruitcake on his crusty XR500 :) May not win but won't stop trying and always good fun to watch ;D
Cheers

Not sure if he's in it this year.
-
Didn't they used to have a states races years ago-this would be the one to watch ;D
all the winners up for the last dash race :o
Be close between Vic, WA and NSW ;) ;D
and this year I think the Maico's will have a good run at the titles 8)
Im a Mexican but I think that the Banana benders will take alot of silver (plastic) home this year.
-
Pre 85 should be a walk in the park for Glen Bell
#8

Watch Dean Burt in the Evo open on a RM400 and he may ride a RM125 as well!!

He hasnt been riding for months, so he hasnt entered.. maybe next year in Mexico if it comes down south. Jodi Smith brother of nick is possibly riding the 490 up there, he is fast and smooth so i hope he can turn it on!
-
Thats a blow , he was great to watch in Tassie.
-
Yep,Cavells,Holeshot,Bad Brad Van Barrelo and BIg Bill should be up there from Qld.Dont know too many guys from the other states.

Don't worry the Smith brothers are also good to watch. :)

MXMANIAC ,sure is a great shot. Theres many great shots of that corner (as you probably know) with riders like TonyD,Glover,Hannah,Howerton,Shultz Karsmakers etc .The reason that you dont see those shots anymore is that the track has been over used and over groomed .Windham said that it gets more and more hardpack every year.Redbud , Washougal(I've been there) and Unadilla would be great also but my Favorite tracks are all in Europe where its really sandy.
-
watch out for #46 he will be using his old mate Geoff Ballard for traction, in the allpowers class ;D ;D
-
yeah - already mentioned above - will be good to see if this comes to fuition ;D :o
-
It is all in good fun young man, its just a figger of speech. You can have your hotshots, Experts, and rider that are just as fast and don`t have the backing that some get and you can have riders that just like to ride, But at the end of the day we have one thing in commend, we are all friends and enjoy vintage bikes praise and respec each others talents.

Jersey is done got some in from the states they stuffed up the sizes though we might have to put our body armor underneath I think the sizes were maked TENT ;D ;D ;D

Fatboy - would love to say I have lost copious quantities of that that has built up over the years but just small small so I think I still qualify (hope Magoo is not reading this!!!).
Front guard is pretty standard size - rear is short though? Sorry I am still hear in deepest darkest and bike is on it's way.
I am dying to get up there and ride/party/play and all the rest.
See you all there as I leave Africa to travel tomorrow!!!!
cheers
