Thanks for letting us know about this one.  It will certainly be interesting to see where it ends up.  :o

There's another one on Mark's swapmeet for US$27,000. Are they really worth that much?

this maybe a question for Doc, how many RH67's were made and were they available to the general public ?

yes they were available to a 'select' public but you had to be quick, cashed up, and a very serious competitor as only 200 were ever built. Price was about $1000US but this included the spares kit which consisted of a new barrel, spare piston and rings and a couple of sprockets, hence there's a couple of homeless barrels still floating around in VMX wilderness these days. This particular egay bike was spotted a few days back and mentioned in a previous post but no-one took the hint of 'an oldie' ;)

All I can say is that for the Suzuki freak, they are the holy grail....  ;)

other than Joel's 1972 Works bike of course.  ;D

For that knd of money, that Suzuki isn't original enough for me, I'm a bit picky here but 27k is a lot of money. For that I'd expect a 100% complete and original bike. I can get a 100% original Monark 500 with GP provenance with enough change left over for a second hand WR450F for that kind of money. Sorry but I, and a number of US collectors I've spoken to who know the bike reckon it's way overpriced and will only sell to someone with so much dough they won't care....or a Japanese collector.

The only factor there Firko is that as time goes on, the rarity of such bikes is increasing, not decreasing, evne if they are not 100% original.  Maybe $27K is too much (I agree, it is), but who knows, it may be within someone's budget?

No doubt we'll find out soon enough.  ;D

Hmmm, stopped at $15,300, still a lot of loot for an old Suzi.  ;D
Seems what people want and what people will pay are two VERY different things these days.
