Title: KX 250 gearbox

Any one wrecking a 87 KX 250 gearbox?
Not sure exactly which parts I need yet? 3rd gear wouldn't engage at all.
Just about split the cases but stumped by the flywheel, will try & find a shop with a puller during the week.
From what I can gather the KX had pretty much the same box from 85 to 89

OK, I need...
Gear, input 3rd 18T       85-89     13129-1956?
Gear output 4th 25T     87 only

They are the gears with dogs both sides and a selecter fork groove.

Can anyone recomend any wreckers or dealers that are good for Kawasaki parts?

hi give me a month and i'll have to complete kx250d1 motors. they were the same 85,86,87 but gear ratios changed so since motor case's were the same this might help you.....
