It's probably worth that. There's a lot of HL replicas around that owe the owners more than that and there like arseholes now..

I agree John, that's a very cool Curtis Honda. It'll go 10kau I reckon.
Ironically Geoff Curtis was the original HL chassis maker and you can see that the Curtis frame is almost identical to the HL when you look closely. I know I posted this photo elsewhere a few days ago but it shows Mr Curtis himself and how close the frame is to an HL.

Gee. I'd have to be really injured to be selling that thing. I mean if I was missing both arms, a leg and an ear and I still think I'd have a crack at it. Coooooorrr!! :o

His name is Brian curtis ,who is geoff curtis?.  The frame IS the same a s a HL . Brian recently has made the same frames to fit Husky 510s and TT500s.    These are the real deal.

oh and the bike on ebay was  sold as a frame kit back in the day,  when i last saw it 6 yrs ago it was still unbuilt.  it has the short enduro swingarm and was never plated.  has other minor differences like footpegs and brake assemblys.

Geoff Curtis was a Finke rider. I think Firko just got names mixed up?

I thought that was a coincidence.
Geoff Curtis was an Australian Dirt Track champion and also rode Speedway in England for Reading in the 60's & 70's.
Sadly he was the last person killed at the old Sydney Showground in 1972.
Nice frame though.

Brian it is..........I don't know what I was thinking of. Geoff Curtis was also an old Brit racer who rode for Matchless in the 50s.
