Title: Montesa VB360/Marzocchi 35mm fork info.
Post by: mx250 on October 20, 2007, 05:28:51 pm
Can anyone tell me the fork oil requirments, by volume (cc's) or distance from top, for the Montesa VB360/Marzocchi 35mm forks?

Lacking specifics, can anyone give a 'rule of thumb'.

From the parts book.  Forks hold 260cc (8.6oz) per leg.

Than use 10 or 15 W oil  and have a airgap of 95-105 mm .(depending on your weight)
Fork compressed , springs out ,( PD valve in ) make sure you have cut the spacer to achieve the right preload . If the preload was correct  before you fitted the PD valve , than all you have to do is cut the spacer by the lenght of the PD valve (16 mm )
