Does anyone have any experience with using cartridge emulators in 40mm Husky forks? Are they legal for evo racing and ere they a worthwhile improvement over stock? Cheers

YSS PD Forkvalve . check www.yss-suspension.com

Race Tech say they are 'vintage legal'. and i dont see machine examiners pulling apart everyones forks to see if they have them inside so i wouldnt worry about it

I reckon someone has to suck it in and try the YSS ones. I volunteer your good self! Buy you a beer if you let us know how they go.... ;D
Umm, where do you find the originals lacking? I'd love to find some heavier springs...... Anyone?

Lucky enough to get one of the first lots off the boat.Been installed on a few bikes from VMXers to RD350's & RGV 250's SWEET as.Had a little problem with the 31mm valve but Walter quickly sorted that.
Installation is a breeze (but I got plenty of tools) and the performance first class.PD's are about half the weight of the yankee ones and have a better port arrangement. They are $50 cheaper to, what are waiting for FBC?

I don't know what the standard Husky forks are like but I've used emulators for the past two years and I'm very impressed. People will spend up big on shocks but baulk at spending $ to get the same improvement on the front end.
I'm waiting for some YSS PD valves at present. I figure the emulator design is a few years old now and assume the PD valves will have taken advantage of a bit more technology.
The PD valves are cheaper and I prefer to support a local product.
