They are the same as the '98 (or there abouts) model 'sept for the upside down forks. A guy here in Brissy who I bought my '84 has a 500 that he races motard on, bloody crazy scotsman.

10 years ago i had a gme 500 , it was said by some to have used ktm engine parts , just wondering how true it was ,  , it was fast , well over 180 kph ,  ( on the beach)  these new things must really fly !
