Title: 2 STROKE OIL MIXED IN METHENOL WHAT DO YOU USE

hi
finding it a bit hard to get 1 5ltr can of castrol m the reatailers want me to buy 3 as it comes from castrol
1
anyone use other oils with methenol
2
have been told vprc3 racing caster oil is ok with methenol depot just down the road from work

anyone know sydney stockest for castrol oil (*castrol was no help at all*)

Hi I race an sl125 on methanol and I use castrol r30, I get it from any super cheap auto store in 1 liter bottles

r30 is two stroke , i think some people use a bit in the fuel in 4st engines ,xtra protection ?  also what about synthetic model aircraft oil such as cool power ? also u can buy castor from some model aircraft shops in different quantities   just some idea,s

         I use Shell M which I have had no trouble getting from Motorcycle Accessory Supermarket @ Liverpool.

Try this mob in Sydney and ask for Angelo Dellis for well priced bike oils..

You can only use an oil that is soluble in Methanol (wood Alcohol) like Castor oil, Castrol R30 or R40 for air cooled bikes, Shell M might be available.

Also buy your methanol from http://www.shiredragracing.com.au/f2R.htm but it is only sold in 20 litre drums.
I think VP have it in 20 litres.
