Title: 1974 Honda CR125 32mm Mikuni carb jets
Post by: melx on June 23, 2009, 08:16:22 pm
Does anyone know what jetting specs should be used on a 32mm Mikuni for a 1974/75 Honda CR125? The standard settings on the 32mm dont work.

What are you currently running?

Old Sudco manual lists jets for 30mm Mik (VM30-83) for CR125 as follows. (May give you somwhere to start for 32mm)
Main #250  (w210-240 optional)
Pilot #40    (w 35 & 45 optional)
Needle P-5
Slide 2.5
Air jet 2.0Needle valve 3.3
Neddle 6F5-4

I'm not 100% sure, but I think a friend ran a 32mm Mik on CR125 back in the day as follows:
Needle 6F5
Needlejet P-0
Slide 2.0 or 2.5

I run the following
   Main #240
   pilot #45
  Needle jet holder #P 8
  Needle Jet #159
  Needle #6F21
  Slide cut away 2.5mm
This works for me with a D.G pipe
  Hope this helps Darcy 8)

When in doubt, the spark plug/piston crown has the answer ;)
