Hi cz experts I have just pulled down my 1973 cz 400 and I am trying to identify the piston so I can organise a set of rings, the piston measures 82.25 and on the top it has 2AX stamped in it, so what brand is it ??? and where will I find a set of rings to suit. H

The piston is a 2nd oversixe stock CZ. they are all marked _ 1 2 3, A B C, X Y Z. So a first oversize could be 1AX, 1AY, 1 Az, 1BX, 1BY, 1BZ, 1CX etc. They are sized to the original bore taper. Very accurate engineering. Any second over rings will fit, no I don't have spares,
Cheers,

according to the on line manual 82.16 is the size of 1st oversize 2nd oversize 82.41
82.25 is the bore size 82.50 is the limit for 1st over

Do you know the recommended clearance from bore to piston?
Chris.
