probably a PE250Z.

go to http://cid-407d7ef0965d3991.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/Pure%20Enduro
and read the FAQ.

You Really Should Have Known!

82 250 Z engines start at 206697 so i would be saying thats what it is, but since the only information we have on 250Z numbers is that one number in the parts book, ( nothing else exists on the net on these) its best to check with your suzuki dealer if you want to be 100% sure, but i think you would be pretty safe to say its an 82 which are quite rare. Yes there are differences between 81 and 82 motors.

now you said an extra mount? extra compared to what? all 80-82 250's and 400's have the same 4 engine mounts.

227nnn and it is a 175? I have never heard of a PE engine number that high.
Usually the engine is between +10  to +100 of the frame number.

It sounds, well..  too high! it would be an 175E - but they started at 2167nn so it would the 10,800th built, and the E was the end of PE's run-out model. Perhaps it is an E.. a bit of a rarity!!

Most of the E internals are identical across Z, D and E. Don't know about the T, but I would assume much would transfer directly.

go to
http://cid-407d7ef0965d3991.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/Pure%20Enduro/SuzukiParts
and download the ZIP file. Install onto Windows. You can then lookup the parts and cross-ref to your hearts content.  ;D

copy the image address from where you have it hosted  ( photo bucket, village photos, windows live etc) and simply paste it in between these tags

[ img ]  insert address of image here [ /img ]

you use the button under the Italics button to insert the image tags

theres no space between the letters and brackets but thats the only way i could show the tags

Leith
I'm using Microsoft Office Picture Manager. I've minimised the photos to less than 125kb, I go in and right click and copy the image address on the photo but when i go to paste into the forum (between the [img][img] brackets) it wont allow a paste function (greys out). What am I doing wrong???? All goes well up until that point.

Pete I think what they are saying you need to use a "host site " ;)
I used to post thru "Additional options " Via My Pictures     No longer available

Oldfart, I thought Picture Manager was a host site. At the moment it doesn't really matter, we're only looking at an engine number.
