Title: IT490 to YZ Tank Swap????

I have just purchased a really nice 1984 IT490 to hopefully/possibly use at the Vintage Nationals - what I would like to know is if it is possible to put a YZ tank on and if so which one??

You may have to change the seat too, 83 seat/tank or 84 seat/tank will fit.

sorry cg ,  83 ,k combo or possibly 82, j combo, 84 on has centerport exhaust , on the opposite side of the it ,s pipe , u can use an 84 seat on the 83 tank , u may have to play with the mounts ,u might have to mod yz side covers with the it airbox

Hi SmartyMX, Intersted to see what the reason for this is.   Obv,  the colour is differesnt.  Anyway,  YZ,s kill the blueys.    You have my full support.  Let me know if you need part numbers.  I am in Sydney,  PM me for more details.
