Hi, can somebody please advise the correct standard jetting for "74 CR/WR400 Husky?
-
The notes in the back of my WR400 manual indicate main jet sizes between 170 and 200, this of course is for the dreaded Bing. Does this mean the GP360 has been parked ?

CR or WR
Bing or Mikuni

from experience, I would junk the bing if you have one and go with the mikuni. Otherwise you will constantly be re jetting, especially the needle jet.
I used a delorto on my bike and it was great, changed the main once to crisp it back up.

Nope GP360 is not retired GD66 ... going out in 2 weeks time to battle the modern 4 stroke stuff...... ;D....another variation of putting a smile on my dial.
I think it's a WR400..6 speed, has newish Bing......unsure of current jetting inside, carbration needs help though so am hoping to arm myself with coprrect std spec before pulling things apart.

Of all the Huskies I have raced the 73/4/5 new generation engines are the least senitive to jetting changes [ in Victoria anyway @ alttitude or sea level/ COLD , HUMID OR DRY] 67 HUSKY IS ON THE MONEY ! however I use a 170 main set on the middle clip ,a 35 idle ,and a 2,85 needle jet 30;1 caster based 98 oct fuel and non resister S 8/9 plugs anything else is a waste of money Note this setup is for a 5 speed cr on the wr 6 speed I too use a Mikuni.
