yeah saw that ,but buyer    BEWARE  IM PREETY SURE  A FORUM MEMBER HAS HAS SOME BAD DEALINGS WITH HIM   IF IT THE SAME GUY .HE WORKS IN PERTH AND LIVES IN NSW

That has potential to be a great bike to ride/compete on, and collect. I wouldn't want to pay much more than the current $1230 but then I seem to have an out-of-touch sense of value ::).

Ok while we are on the topic, can any of the H series Monty's get full road reg here in Aus?? I am intrested to know as alot of my mates use there XR's and TT's on the road between tracks up Alexander!!!

As far as I know some of the H6 & H7 Enduros had ADR compliance. My 250 H7 has a compliance plate but it has been issued by a company in Melbourne as a limited import. I seem to remeber that during the early '80s in NSW bikes such as the Cota 349, 242 trials bikes and H6/H7's could be registered as farm bikes and did not require ADRs but you needed to know a primary producer  who would side the application.

I just love it how these dicks advertise most 85 -87 model Kato's as 84 models  :-\.
This clown even has the frame number starting 8501 (jan 85 manufacture) in the add... ???

Go talk about KTM's rubbish in the KTM part of the fourm and stop hi-jacking this fine topic on montesa's you may note it says Bultaco, Ossa,Montesa up the top...  ;D
