Title: 78 cr250 rod kit

Is there a rod kit for the 78 cr250? I got a 78 250 today and after i got it home i kicked over and then it locked up so i think i will pull the motor and rebuild it. DG

Easy to get, the kit you need fits '78 -2001. You will need to get the crank pin ground though as the one in the kit is too long. We just fitted one to a '76 model as well with no problems.

That will do the job, but they are no problems to get here in Oz.
