Title: NSW STATE CHAMPS AT NEPEAN slider must race

being a state title event the meeting must abide by ma gcrs.
sliders over 250cc can race with mx bikes in unlimited only
125 & 250 cc sliders can run in there classes.
will penrith try and run the meeting not by M.A gen comp rules and make up there own.
so if they have classic races and 1 is an unlimited i can ride my tt500 hagon in it.and if no age limit on bikes might even ride in unlimited race.
what races will be celebrating 50 years of nepean
the race is 29 /30 august and there are no entry forms out yet

jim the meeting is being run by nepean motorsports club not city of penrith.

g,day jim i just spent time typing out comment about your input but since our coputer thing snuffed it  this is my sons laptop on which i prest thing rong button and lost the bloody whole diatribe. so wen i find my cool i will be back.cheers wally.

Does anybody know (or care) if there will be vintage/classic classes at the states champs? Or is it too early to tell...Maybe if enough of us old bike people start waving their arms around NMS will include classics/vintage.

Moreso, does anybody care about the (modern) State Championships. The 50th anniversary of the track should be the vintage meet, not some modern event that'll attract a handful of fans.

hopefully the nsw champ's event will be well supported by all and sundry. it appears that already a great deal of interest is being shown in the reunion dinner which will be in a large marquee at the track on saturday evening. i believe that the parramatta club old boys are planning a reunion to commemorate 50 years having been founded in 1959, and old stager bob shuttleworth is chasing up names with the possibility of bringing  them all out by bus. it is hoped that some  old banners from the old clubs may be found for a parade. cheers wally.
