UNFCKNBLVBLE!
-
you can pick these up quite often on ebay US for around $20 US good on the guy who's selling them he has had a big win thanks Michael. :)
-
but he cant count his chickens before they hatch, the buyer has to pay up first. i wonder what they are gonna go for? still a few days left and theres interest from malaysia.
-
A fool and his money are easily parted (ask me I know LOL) - but this is ridiculous !!!
-
even if they are genuine Bell, i thought they were a bit steep.
-
yeah they do still have to pay him id say at the moment its already over the top id like to see them go higher does maylasia have different currency could be a mix up in thinking they are cheap who knows
-
That is just ridiculous!
If you look at the bidders there is a (0) history bidder that's gone nuts with the cash? ::)
Bet he doesn't get the loot. ;D
-
yeah thats funny when you see a newbie bidder with zero feedback bidding like crazy and are in the lead only to be outbid at the last second.
i cant believe they are over $600 now :o it was only at $400 something a few hours ago
-
i didnt think much people bidded like that i might bid on something to see if anyone has a max bid on but then i wait to the very last second to put a max bid on and they try to scramble to get another bid on but then its to late or you get outbid from there max they put on days ago but thats all part of the game but why do people start a bidding war with so long left in the auction see it may never of hit $600 if they put whatever as there max at the end they might have got them a few hundred dollars cheaper i think not a lot of people know how ebay works especially in respect to the max bid thanks Michael. :)
-
I once actually sold a bike on ebay for more than the "buy it now" price, two people got into a bidding war and where totally blind to the buy it now price, made about an extra 200 clams than what I wanted :)
-
cant complain about that i have seen how sometimes i dont know if there is a feature where if it gets within a certain amount from the buy it now the buy it now disappears and then it ends up going way over the reserve sort of thing is there a way you can do that or is it the seller who pulls the buy it now price off the listing thanks Michael. :)
-
i think there is a feature you can use so that as soon as a bid is placed the buy it now goes away
-
yeah if i was to sell a bike id just put it no reserve at what i wanted i think thats the best way to go no reserve is silly you may lose big time and buy it now is ok if you are happy with the buy it now price
-
$760 and still climing :o who wants to make a bet they will reach $1000?
-
Im gonna snipe them 100th of a second from the end. Just to freakem out!
-
now the seller has said no zero feedback bidders and that 'this is silly money, will post for free'
even though they are genuine Bell, i would have thought about $150 tops, not over $750! Oh well its an interesting one to watch
-
who wants to bet that it all falls through? Genuine bidders from malaysia?????
-
It gets really sunny in Nigeria too
This is sheer stupidity but the seller must be grinning - just think it would buy three CR125m kill switches, lol

Total Madness
-
yup it's a scam, same scam and same people who bid insane prices (over $1000) on used Bell Magnum helmets. There are serious collectors but I highly doubt the seller will see anywhere near what's been bid ;)
-
I sold one of these Bell peaks for $80 last year and thought the world had gone mad, I think I had about 20 bids but this is madness. I have a feeling I may have a couple more and I'm certain there's an old Magnum down in the shed as well!..Oh Happy Days!!!!!!!!
-
Shame you can't check out the bidders profiles look you could in the good old days of evilpay.
Weird ???

does anyone know where that section is on ebay where you can see the most watched items on ebay/items that are just through the roof with crazy prices? i remember once someone on here posted a link to a site that showed a AJS stormer in a crate and it was the most watched item on ebay that week or something. I wonder if these visors are on that list? I thought $400 was pretty bad. Only $102 to go and we will hit $1000 ::). I too have doubts that the buyer will pay because its all too easy to back out of sale if you win. It says you are bound to legal contract but so many people just say 'oh someone hacked into my account and must of done the bidding' Theres a few bidders with low feedback, one with only 1 feedback so i wonder if that was the person who was on zero but got told they couldnt bid with zero feedback so they went and got a feedback so they could come back and bid again?
-
interesting question....
Q: Hi,Just want to remind you...beware from below 20 feedback and new bidder..they are usually joybidder...thanks... 14-Jun-09
A: Thank you, ebay have been informed about joy bidders on this auction & are watching it...i know who the genuine bidders are & they will be the ones who are given preference....or....they will be the ones who are NOT removed at the last minute.Thank you for your concern.
10 hrs to go, $30 to reach a grand!

Welcolme to the world of vintage/old school BMX. these are cheap, I have seen way more bizzare shit than this like a gold plated hutch frame for 2500 pounds sterling! or a NOS Mongooose gold neck $840, many, many more old ex BMXers out there than VMXers!,....

Shit, I gave one of these plus another in parts for free to a former forum member a few short years ago. He still hasn't used 'em so I might reclaim 'em and cash in on the Zundapp boom!
-
Zundapp Motor sold for $547 US 14 bids :o
