hey guys is there anyone in nsw doing titanium nitride coating...has anyone had it done...im looking at doing it 2 my fox airshox 4 that works look

If you mean the gold look that Titanium Nitride (TiN) gives, I suggest you look to Surface Technologies in Victoria.
I don't have their contact details but you can look them up on the web of yellow pages.

I think Shock Treatment can do nitride coating. I know of a few people who sent their forks to them to have it done.

Don't expect to be able to race at any VMX meetings with that on your shocks, the scruitinazi's will march you out of the paddock!

Yeah im sure shock treatment do it. Also try http://www.electromold.com.au/index.cfm/home if they dont do it they may know who does.

Post a pic of the shocks when you got em done :)

Don't get Titanium Nitride coating confused with electroplating. TiN coating is a PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) medium temperature coating commonly used on cutting tools. This coating is very durable and one of it's properties is it's lubricity, hence it's suitability to be used cutting tools like drills, lathe and mill tools.
