Title: Old school skills
Post by: firko on May 24, 2009, 11:50:25 pm
An American journo mate sent me this piece from todays New York Times....A really well written piece about a subject close to many of our hearts.

How good was that. One of the best articles on one of my pet subjects I've read. There is way too much emphasis placed on a university education and not enough on getting down and dirty in the workplace. Essential reading for anyone who's bogged down in a cubicle job they hate.

Who would have thought at Ward Pally Austin would read the New York Times.  Paddo Cafe, Latte and NYT - perfect days indeed!
He never ceases to amaze me.
