guys i need help in locating a primary shaft and gear selector shaft , mine are farrrrrked, any help is appreciated before i re weld the bastard.cheers bonehead :-\

so thats why the kx was side lined at bulla on the weekend.....see if ya can get some picks and part numbers alot of kx and kdx stuff are interchangable

yep sidelined >:( but still had fun on the yz, would love to had a good go on the kx but as you saw its out of action , any idea where i can find part # for this bike ???

By Primary do you mean the output shaft , whats wrong with yours .
I will have a look through my A4 & A5 stuff see if i have a spare .

out put shaft , the thread for the sprocket nut is farrrrrrked.your help is much appreciated ;D cheers bonehead.

if its only the thread f#@ked you might be able to get someone with a lathe to cut you a new thead and use a different size nut. this time with a lock tap to stop it happening agian i have a mate here in gloucester thats handy with a lathe

Finally got to the parts , i dont have a spare A5 output shaft but i do have a spare KT 250 one.
Only difference i can see is the thread is smaller and courser and the shaft is solid at the sprocket end not hollow like the KX ones and it is 5mm longer at the thread .
Are you going to CD 6 i can bring it over if you want to look at it .
You may be able to source one locally though .
Would sell this one with the nut $60.00 cheers Bill.

guys thanks for all your efforts , tm bill i will pm you if i require that shaft , for the time being i have welded the sprocket nut on and in a manner which it can easily be removed, im still on the hunt for a good shaft, ;D ;D cheers bonehead.
