someone once said 'for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction'..this obviously also applies to vmx  :D

in 2 minds over these bikes but I have to admit Tom's has downpipes and Vee bars :-\ maybe that was from his helmet after the last quadruple he overshot..by 30 metres! :o :D

If anyone puts an RG 500 in a dirt bike they best either take it out, or go into hiding as I'll hunt them down and shoot them.A gixxer 1000 would be the go.

I reckon the GS750 is good choice considering it's vintage '77-'78, this was a great era! ;)

Graham, you're not joshin' are you it looks like the bike's in the US! I for 1 would really like to see this bike me being an enthusiast of all things non OEM ;D

I've seen this picture pop up on other forums before. No idea of it's history though.

Going by the complexity of the bike stand - that bike's got to be in Japan... ::)

yep i would say so, this country lives for complexity, looks like someone snatched the stand from under their Harley, great for tyre changes.

Love the 754 Doc,  one like that has got to be a new project!! I did have a 500/4 in a some what modified SL125 frame combo once , frame proved a tad um flexible and not even going to mention the braking ,handling and suspension..

I know he posts on the ACR forum http://www.acrmx.com/home.shtml (http://www.acrmx.com/home.shtml)

Ummm yes, that someone was Einstein and his theory on relativity, which also includes somehow applicably this;

Mass-energy equivalence: E = mc2, energy and mass are equivalent and transmutable

the real trick is to get over weight multi cylinder road bike to handle like a real dirt bike, BMW, Harley, Guzzi and others managed it.

whatever happened to the ISDT 750 and above class..... the class that spawned the Maico 760 and Morini Camel.... now that would be something cool to revive in the VMX world.
