hi i have an 80 yz465 fitted with a dg pipe bought from dirt overstock . the bike runs blubbery through the power range what should i do. also the bike will roll start but is almost impossible to kick start

Check the nozzle in the carb. I changed mine from a Q-2 to a Q-0.

Try dropping the needle cilp a couple of notches, had a mate with a 250 with same prob, leaning out needle cleaned it up nicely
