Beauty Brent.
I'm ready with cash in hand. ;D
-
Tony ,ya going to ride that CT110 says does not that qualify you as a "nutter" too??? :D
-
Oh yeah........ didn't think of that................... :(
Actually, it's worse than that. I've got a mate coming over from NZ and he's riding the 110............. I'm riding a CT90......... ::)
-
I'm just wondering what Tony is planning on getting up to, that requires crash bars on the CT110?
I mean, this is the bloke that's wrestled a V-Strom through the desert without much damage, but the lil' postie bike seems to have him scared...
;D

:D Good one Nathan!
It does seem weird that I didn't bother with crash bars on the V-Strom (and didn't need them, I might add ;) ) but I want them on a CT90................
Cos the bikes are so bloody slow, we're not going to make it between towns for some of the trip, so I need to strap water and other supplies wherever I can. Hence the need for the crash bars.
Haven't been able to find any as yet though.............

Try 110 motorcycles ,posty wrecker
-
Yep, gave them a try today. They've only got new ones and I'm too poor for that. ;D
Thanks anyway for the input.
-
were they optional? ive never seen them on the Australia post bikes i service.
-
Don't know Leith. I just assumed they were an Aussie Post thing as that's where I'd seen them.
I can get them as a new part from Honda, so maybe they were just an option.
-
Maybe they do come with them but the Post department take them off for their models ???

I have a set of new crash bars that where of a chinese shitters that i was selling , was looking in the cyrogenic chamber (upstairs) they have clamps at top and bolt at the bottom wouldnt be a big job to make fit. 10.00

im just thinking what its going to be like riding with all that extra gear, water, fuel etc which would slow the bike down a fair bit. At The best of times they are really only comfortable at 75KM's. anymore and they are reving their guts out and its really pushing those little bikes.
-
Not to mention the lump of the rider.... :D Hey Tony ya coming... OK crawling this way if so I will have to get the TC100 out and finished for a high/low range dunger bike compero .Of course I will leave the mighty Suzuki in low range.... let us chuck a ten speed Kawasaki G4TR in too, for the full seven glossy page trail bike magazine write up :D Just need a resonable photographer handy.. Cheers

Yeah, yeah, yeah............. >:( ;)
You blokes do have a point though. They will be slow with me and all the gear on, but we're only planning to do a couple of hundred kms a day. Gotta save some time to drink beer too....................... ;D
And no, not going your way Tim. Going straight North to Alice, then I'll come home and Bernard will continue on into W.A.
Shoreline, pm sent mate. I'll give them a go. Thank you.
-
Think laterally Aussie style .. Leave the gear home = drink more beer! Ok after that mild outback test run shake down ,we will have to plan an east coast run OK.
-
I'll need to think about that one, Tim.........................
ok! ;D Maybe tie in with some VMX/Vinduro event somewhere?
