has anyone experimented with the off-the-shelf spraycans to find a white that matches the original YZ colour? Yamaha called it "Clean White"
cheers

Good timing Mainline - just about to touch my bike up and I wasn't happy with the previous white I used (it wasn't stark enough) so I am much interested in the reply.
thanks

yep - sure am!

doesn't look like it's getting us anywhere, apparently no-one has ever managed to match the colour?
I buy a couple of cans and let you know how I get on.
-
no dramas - I am going through the same exercise next week so will compare with you on this.
thanks!

I bought a Holts Powerplus touch up spray from supacrap this arvo and it looks pretty good. It's "stark white"
I'll check in daylight tomorrow when it's dry and let you know

the aformentioned Holts colour seems pretty good Rossco, I checked it this arvo against one of Concourse Plastics' new guards.
-
Mainy - I tried a Holts before but it wasn't the stark white coz I had nothing with me when I went. I am home again this weekend so will have a look as I have a new guard to try and match.
Thanks for this.
cheers

no worries Rossco, I was pretty happy with the end result too. I had to paint a yellow US sidecover to match.

Hi all,
have any of you been able to find out the correct color code for the YZ`s of the G and H models, they are not a stark white as described earlier on in this thread but more of an off white. I have tried a few different pressure packs but no luck.
I am not doing a resto just trying to tidy up my race bike, any help appreciated. Peter.
