im looking for a TS185-ER tachometer

must have case in fairly good condition and not cracked

red line from 8-10000RPM

will buy from anywhere at any realistic price

no they dont have the Tacho. They have a speedo and no its not a perfect copy. i bought 2 and they dont even fit >:(. The mounting studs are way out and dont fit the bracket. I have a nos genuine speedo anyway, its a tacho i need. Thanks anyway for the suggestion.

they are the repros with the incorrect stud spacing. so i looks like the 125 has the same redline so might be the same tacho as 185 then, but im not sure if it has the same gearing?

TS100ER TS125ER TS185ER all used the same instrument clusters only the TS250ER was different (speedo goes to 160Km I believe)

yeah i got the 250 ones, they are nippon seiki i reckon and the 185 are nippon denso. The 250 have the wider stud mounts and that is what all those replicas you see are for.

i bought a nos tacho thinking it would be right but its a nippon seiki and has redline from 8-9000 so i think it could be for a DR400 or 500? i will swap it for a TS185 tacho.

The saddest thing about TS/ER instruments is that they are the first thing to be smashed or discarded when ridden off road.

mine have been pretty good. my speedo was looking a little tatty and had a crack in the clear lens so i found a NOS one on ebay for about $35AU. My tacho has a broken needle that ive tryed repairing many times but the main issue is the bottom halve of the case which is all broken out so im hoping to swap internals to a better case or just find a cheap nos one.

Checked my instrument bin. Sorry a speedo that goes to 160 ks only.  Will keep digging there were lots of 185s. Tim
