I just heard the ace VMX photographer Bill Forsyth suffered a heart attack a week or so ago. I spoke to him this morning and he told me they've given him a "valve grind and decoke" and is on the mend. Bill's one of the best motor racing photographers in the business and above all a good bloke. Here's hoping he quickly recovers so he can join us at CD6.

Not good having a heart attack, but definitely good news that he's on the mend and hopefully with no major after effects. Best wishes to Bill for a speedy recovery.

Alison, I don't know if you have inside knowledge or it's just weird coincidence but your "Norton Parking Only" avatar fits in with Bill Forsyth getting his Norton 600 roady going not long before his heart attack. 8)

I gave Bill a ring on Tuesday and he sounded in reasonably good spirits but felt a little down on energy. He didn't expect the heart attack (who does, I suppose) and passed on the point that it's not a bad idea to get the old ticker checked out every now and then, epecially now many of us are over 50. He promised to try get well enough to make it to CD6 and catch up with everyone.
