I was just checking if Mike1948 was lurking around in here. I heard He was defecting from Montesa over to Maico. So I was told yesterday ::) Darcy #674

Bloody DOBBER!!!!!  Not defecting, just checking out the opposition.  By the way, anyone know what the shock length of a 73 250 four speed is supposed to be?

I'm told that particular one you got is pretty quick. Have you ridden it yet?

What I saw of it at the racing on sunday it's slow of the start ;D  Then again it might just be Mike's riding style  ;)Darcy

The bike feels strong, and once I get the hang of it, it should be up with the front runners - at least to the first turn!  Despite previous posts which are critical of the 250 4speeds output, it certainly feels to have competitive power.
