Hi ,
If dont replace the big end bearing ,con rod,and crankpin as an assembly you will be sorry.
Good Luck,

you could once get an i.n.a bearing that you could use if there were no marks in the rod

im new 2 cz stuff it has no up and down movement but there is plenty of side 2 side is this normal

Hi
the reason there is side freeplay in the big end,(in a good motor), is because there are no thrust washers in the bottom end , that is why they have the thrust washers on the gudgeon pin , do not use any thing other than the factory thrust washers up there, remember, any thing made out of steel in a CZ mxer is made out of recycled Kalashnikovs and T18 tanks, including mud guards, fuel tanks and air boxes, strong but really heavy.
If you read a CZmxer parts book, page 14, you will see there are 4 size of big end bearings to match up with 5 fractional fit con rods .
Good Luck trying to save a buck.

Plenty of engines run fine with no piston thrust washers, and converting to big end thrusts is a doddle. Have you got the gudgeon pin dia, centre to centre length, crank pin dai and width and I'll look in my charts and see if there is an alternate rod.

Why bother. They are over the counter stuff as they are pretty much the same thing all the way through. I think a rod kit is about $250. Les at Mainly Maico sells them.

About $120 less bother ;) or the CZ rod kits must come hand delivered , individualy wrapped and boxed in Channel No5 boxes ???
