Title: Shelf brackets
Post by: Marc.com on April 19, 2009, 01:44:16 pm
for all the guys who like to do a little frame welding, for add on lugs for mounting number plates, sub frames and what have you, I am partial to cutting up galvanized shelf brackets from Mitre10.

you get nice neat lugs with a rounded ends and the hole dead in the center. Hack em off and weld them on.  looks much more professional.

if you have twin shocks they can be shorter without getting too hot..... early YZs had the longest shock this side of a monster truck
