-
http://www.suziparts.com.au/
try this place for NOS parts. They bought out a the SA Suzuki distributor from a long time ago. Also they will make the effort to do a worldwide search for NOS parts for you
-
See if you can locate Wes, I believe he had one....................... ::)
Sorry, I know it's childish but I couldn't resist ;D
-
:D t'was my initial thought too brent but I couldn't think of the 'owners' name ;)
-
Thanks fellows, what other suzuki models that would come close.
-
Sorry Albrid my comment was a bit of an in-joke, refering to someone who used to use this site. He made some amazing "finds".
Have you seen the issue of VMX mag with the article on the 67 TM250? Might give you some ideas.

Thanks Brent, i am reading it now, l think this forum can be more helpfull to each of us, The help that l have received is more than l started with. l am one step closer, but have a long way to go.
-
What l need is a set of engine cases, or complete bottom end, and frame. it is a needle in a hay stack question.
-
I may be wrong but I think Brad Lackey is rebuilding one of these.
He was advertising for parts, I think, in VMX magazine.
-
l contacted Brad lackey, he does have one but still looking for parts for his bike.

(In other words, a whole bike!)
Sadly Dave, you've got diddly squat chance of finding anything to do with an early RH/TM. Except for the pristine example supposedly found by a forum menber (I don't think it was Wes, he had the 120k Maico) for 20 bucks or whatever none have shown up to my knowledge. There's a bloke been advertising on the Swapmeet site for at least the last couple of years for an RH67 and he's had no luck. Lately he's even got to offer to swap his 12k 360 sidepiper CZ for one. That's how rare these things are.
FOR SALE

Yeah i don't think you'll find one of them in a hurry, i've seen plenty of RH's around but never seen a '67 RH/TM250 in the flesh.
-
hi fellows, you are right, it will be tuff, the only part l have of a Suzuki 67 RH 250 is the barrel, so it will be tuff l will not give up yet.
-
Last Week, l was searching for parts for the 67 RH 250, found a person in Amercia that has one, and he offered this 67 RH to me for the sum of $18,000 US, but he wanted the bike to stay in the USA, he didn`t realise at the time that l live in Australia. The reason why, was that Suzuki in Japan had offered him $20,000 US to buy and he refused the offer.
-
wow pity he didnt say even $2000 us suzuki could afford to pay him more than $20000 US what are they doing trying to get back vintage bikes if i were suzuki i would have kept one of every bike i made then you wouldnt have to gather a heap up 20-30 years down the track :)
-
that is right michael, you would have thought, l am shore that they would have keeped some models.
-
Frosty, in hindsight having such foresight would be an extremely rare thing :D The japanese have been buying back their own bikes at inflated prices since the early 80's ;)
-
youd reckon all depends what they kept better to have kept an rh or tm or rn insted of ts185 and alike maybe they have a 71-74 tm 250 or 400 they will sell me cheap i could do some races on it for them in the current motorcross tm or rh would still keep up with the so called modern professional riders ;D thanks Michael.
-
Good on you Michael, thats my boy.
-
theres a good 250 tm in ballarat a bit expensive though i have heaps of projects now once i get the gt80 over and done with hopefully ill find one although i have been saying that about the gt80 for ages but i took alot of stuff to get sprayed today so thats a big step into finishing it its hard to establish a value for something like the 67rh isnt it i mean youd be over the moon with one for $100 but youd still be pretty happy for $5000 but probably hard to find one for that never know though have you since found any other bits thanks again Michael. :)

l do know of a person that has a bottom end to suit that barrel, but he hasn`t got back to me and that was over 3 weeks ago.
