Here are some articles i have found in some french magazines, all from around 1980. Its up to you to translate. my suggestion is to type up the text and then copy and paste it into www.freetranslation.com or find a friend who can read french. Lots of good pictures though. Each page is approx 1 to 1.60MB in size (high quality)

Those JBR replica Hondas that Rod Spry builds are the coolest looking bikes. I recently asked Hectors for a price on the frame kit but they no longer do the JBR :(

Rod Spry
Thats the guy too see,so the article says...By the pics he's only a young pup too..
Lets go knock on his door with a few Ales Guiness's beers, see if we can get ourselves a Moly frame :P ;D ;)

Rod would probably sell you a frame if you asked nicely !
Here is a link to his web site http://www.rodspry.co.uk/ (http://www.rodspry.co.uk/)
You are also correct in saying that Colin at Hectors no longer produces the frames.
For those really interested, and want to talk to him. Send me a PM and I will let you have his phone number. Only trouble for you guy's is that is a mobile number ;D
Rod is also a very, very fast guy on a motocross bike.

I reckon that Cheney Yamaha YZ250 would be the Holy Grail of VMX collectors - and the coolest ride 8).

Any idea of numbers, to my understanding there were only 2 Ribi Yams built. Stunning vintage bike but obviously a little dry for some pallets.

I think I've heard that it was delivered 3 with XT500 and 2 with YZ engines ( one with 465 on ebay a while ago) with ribis from cheney. He might have made some forks that have been sold alone though. Have seen pics of a later monoshock ribi...
