I want but I don't think the $900 stimulus deal is enough to help me buy it :'(

bit spensive for a 73 model, thinksd it worth 2-2.5, then maybe less in this market.

You're right, the market has spoken. I can't account for it though. To me the SC is not a race bike and it is not a particularly attractive collectible, but as an 'oddity' they seem to pull good money - why I've got no idea. I can't remember the exact price but I remember a 'not totally original', but talked up, SC from the north coast of NSW got what I thought was silly money on Ebay about 12 months ago.

Who's buying, why and where they disappear to I've got no idea ::) :P.

YEp that was the Red frame Jobby that was passed off as a Gunter DT bike or similar.   :-\

I got a SC500A and i think they look way better in the Yellow chequer block.     THE chassis and plastics is just another MX, but the motor is the interesting bit, ran it in the Dt frame for a while and it honks along, but in the MX frame its nothing special, kinda a fat pig really, i think the 360 handles and rides better.

Dollar wise I still think thats too much for the old 363 silver model.  But hey let it go higher , only helping my retirement funds.   ;D

Freaky - a mate of mine has put an SC500 motor into a YZ250B frame - taken the auto decompressor off etc - fair flies believe me and just like a big lazy 2 stroke should be - heaps of low down grunt - no need to change gears!

Thats what i needs a better frame. the thing lights up in the Champion frame cause its on song open and with the 4 speed, but back in the MX frame it just feels  too low and long and acts like a paper aroeplane, fast in a straight line, but unless your drifting the rear it dont like to stop and turn.  Bit like perhaps riding a brahma bull ?  :D

still they look good but the 360 is the pick IMHO :P

be nice to have,  even for just for the engine.  But then  I am a big bore fan, never mind how much of an ironing board the frame is.
