and lived to tell the tale ?
Just had to do 4 of the most cruddy filters ever. BelRay blue is an absolute bitch one it has seen river water. It becomes even stickier. That washing machine in the kitchen should be in my garage...!

Can't say I've ever tried it.......costs too much to fill with turps. ;D

Used to have an old dish washer in the shed that acted like a parts washer, until the seal shit it's self and washed the floor at the same time ;) Used to be the bees knees

Hoover Air Filter Dryer - patent pending
I use the clothes dryer to tumble dry the filters on warm (NEVER hot) after the usual cleaning regime. Dryer smells a bit of turps but the filters come out dry and ready to oil, or bag up for later.

:D oldfart I used the old dishwasher trick for a short time also..actually it was along time as the timer was broken and the cycle lasted about 6 hours till I got home..all before water restrictions came into play thankfully ;D it did work well though :)

I limit myself to using the oven to heat C/cases - and even then I make sure 'she who must be obeyed' (especially when it comes to matters pertaining to the indoors domain) is guaranteed to be away from home reliably for a protract time.

a little twin tub would do the job and SHE couldnt complain should be heaps of those on council pick up days same goes for dryers and dish/parts washers

Our dryer ended up in the garage because of space in the laundry issues so I reckon it becomes fair game.
They work so well, you should have one there anyway. :)
