Well .. the plug lead snapped off today so wondering what options. Anyone been there done that?
-
quite possible to repair. you will have to dig away at the plastic to be able to get some bare wire, then solder on a new plug wire. then cover up the repair with an epoxy glue or fibreglass resin or similar. you have got nothing to loose.

Are aftermarket ones avialable?? Repair as last option

Trim off at plastic, screw in a S/S 25mm long course screw about 12mm trim off head and create a point . Screw on lead and apply a dob of silicon sealant just before if makes contact with plastic and tighten up

I see these on ebay all the time and wondered if they'd be ok. They often state that they're for 125cc four stroke pit bikes etc, does mean they'd still work ok on a two stroke motocross bike?
Is there any particular type to look for?
