.............and Rare.
Last time I saw one of these, or at least it's kissing cousin the Sachs Hercules with the Earls forks, was at the Qantasic at Orange, circa 1978(?????). It was a quite comical scene. There was a 'Y' intersection at the base of a small gully. Three bikes come down each of the trails at Blitz speed arriving together to a dust billowing halt inchs from each other. One rider was Winston Stokes on his distinctive little Herc. Much arm waving and gestures, a quick navigation conflab and mutual cursing of the organisers and we each set off in our own direction.
I musta got it right; I arrived at the checkpoint on time ;D.
Anyone want a better copy email me.

I always enjoy reading the old T&T tests, 4 full pages of text that's actually a real seat of the pants article.
Not like the regurgitated, generic spheel we get in modern bike mags.

I agree evo. The modern reviews are a disgrace ;) ;). One page if you are lucky and nothing in depth. Written for those who have very short attention spans I guess. ;D ;D ;D

The modern bikes are probably all so similar it's hard for them to come up with something new to write
